BITTEN (R)
VIVENDI ENTERTAINMENT (2008)

Starring: Jason Mewes, Erica Cox, Richard Fitzpatrick, Jordan Madley, Nick Nicotera & more.

Jason Mewes is a paramedic that works the graveyard shift and is getting tired of his mundane
lifestyle. Because of him working late nights and him sleeping during the day he can never find a
woman to spend his life with. One night when a bunch of no good drug dealing thugs start harassing a
lone woman he comes to her rescue and takes her to his nearby apartment. He lets her stay the night
and quickly falls in love with her. He doesn't know what it is about her, but there is something
different about her. He soon learns that she is a Vampire and can't help to be enthralled with her. He
wants to be with her, but of course is freaked out by her being a Vampire. She needs to feed, but he
doesn't know what to do. He then starts bringing her victims, like the drug thugs, homeless and low
lives. The film is really more about the two's relationship and less about Vampires. It's kind of a dark
and twisted version of Romeo & Juliet, but without the families being involved. To beings from
different worlds drawn together. I didn't think I would like this film, because I'm not a big fan of
Vampires and even though I like Jason Mewes, he is usually in wacky comedies and this was a more
serious role. The film was actually pretty good and had a good story, good acting and was one of the
better Vampire films I've seen recently.
