BOOK OF BLOOD is based on early writings of the great Horror master Clive Barker. Mary is a
paranormal expert who along with a spiritual medium named Simon band together to investigate a
mysterious house. The house is supposedly haunted which many believe is from some murders that
took place in the building. Once they settle into the home strange things start happening. Some
hostile spirits begin to speak through Simon in very horrific ways. They soon start to realize that
this home is a crossroads for tortured souls. The film starts off a little slow, but then picks up and is
quite creepy. The book explains everything a little more completely and doesn't leave you as
confused, especially the ending, but it's still a decent adaptation of Clive Barker's work.
