John Strauss is suffering from a life threatening genetic disorder & has not been able to find any
help as to what is wrong. He searches his family tree to try & find the root of the illness. He
discovers something that takes him & his wife to a remote island off the coast of Maine that is
plagued with mutated freaks. Here he uncovers more of his families past & the reason behind his
illness. This was a little bit bizarre & had a really weird plot to it. It wasn't really scary or anything,
but it had that strange feel to it like the GHOULIES or CRITTERS type movies from the 80's.
Strange & interesting enough for at least one viewing, but not one I would watch over & over again.
