"DOCUMENTARIES OF DEMENTIA"

NECROTIC DISGORGEMENT started back in 2005 after the great REGURGITATION
was laid to rest. The band started out as a three piece, but later recruited Ben Deskins into
the fold. The band soon recorded and released their first full length entitled
"SUFFOCATED IN SHRINKWRAP". Now, almost nine years later they unleashed their
second full length "DOCUMENTARIES OF DEMENTIA". These guys play a crushing
combination of Death Metal and Grindcore music. Their sound is extremely brutal and
intense through and through. They have taken what they did in REGURGITATION and
excelled it to a higher more massive level. The music has an old school Death Metal feel to
it, like early European Death Metal and mixed in with some spastic and crusty Grindcore
like what was coming out of the Czech Republic in the '90's. I see a lot more bands going
back to the Death / Grind / Black Metal styles of the '90's, which is fine with me, if it's done
right. The members of NECROTIC DISGORGEMENT are from that era, so of course
they nailed this style perfectly. I loved the spastic chaotic Grindcore that pummels the hell
out of you with each song with tons of blasts, change ups and breakdowns. There are thick
throaty Death growls vocals blended with Grindcore screaming and growling vocals. If you
are a fan of Grindcore and a fan of Death Metal then NECROTIC DISGORGEMENT is
the band for you. They are absolutely an amazing band. Fans of ALIENATION MENTAL,
REGURGITATION, REEFER HUT, HEMDALE, CORPSE VOMIT & FLESHLESS
will love these guys! I know I did!!!
