TRANSCENDING OBSCURITY DISTRIBUTION
This Death Metal band from India is quickly spreading like wildfire in their home country
and around the world. Starting in 2013 these five guys are members of two other bands
ALBATROSS and KILLBRIUM who came together to form PRIMITIV. Their lyrical
themes include science fiction, dystopia, and fantasy. The band released their debut album
in India on January of 2016 through TRANSCENDING OBSCURITY
DISTRIBUTION by February the album went internationally. PRIMITIV moved to
TRANSCENDING OBSCURITY INDIA after the CD came out. "IMMORTAL &
VILE" is a 7 track no nonsense short and to the point album. The band's vocalist Nitin
Ragan is well known and legendary in India with his demonic guttural vocals with an
aggressive and brutal form of Death Metal along with hints of Doom and Heavy Metal
which is a perfect melting pot for pure genius. They have a great balance of heavy as hell
riffs with catchy melodic groove's maintaining a some what slow tempo through the whole
disk ending with a track called "Clash Of The Gods" a mostly instrumental song which is
a proper and compelling conclusion for their latest effort. PRIMITIV is for fans of the
bands NILE, OPETH and AMON AMARTH.
