These four guys from Athens Greece is serving us a brand of underground old school
Death Metal forming back in 2011. The lyrical themes are about death, pollution, social
aggression and war. The band released a taste of what's to come in 2012, the band released
a wide array of EPs and split records from 2012 to 2014 and between the years 2015 to
2016 they released one full length, three split records and a compilation album. The album
"ONCE ENTOMBED..." was launched as a limited edition compilation disk released in
February on 2016 under TRANSCENDING OBSCURITY CLASSICS. This album has
nineteen tracks of pure devastation features quality covers from band's such as THE
EXPLOITED song " Chaos Is My Life" SODOM's "Outbreak Of Evil" ASPHYX's
"Death Hammer" SLAYER's song "Postmortem" and DEATH's "Sacred Serenity" this
compilation album is not just a cover album it has thirteen original tracks that will melt
your face off. With lots of little recordings you get the music bit by bit. With " ONCE
ENTOMBED..." album you get to dive in their music and truly experience ABYSSUS at
their peak. ABYSSUS has a blisteringly fast pace including blast beats , deranged guttural
vocals, and an elaborate structure of the guitars keeping the traditions of old school Death
Metal. This band sounds a lot like the legendary band OBITUARY! In the bloody veins of
OBITUARY, BROKEN HOPE and HYPOCRISY.
