AVENGER has been unleashing many crushing releases in their 20 years of existence,
but "BOHEMIAN DARK METAL" is by far their best release thus far. This Czech
Republic band is well know in the underground scene playing their style of dark Metal
music. They blend together cold harsh old school Black Metal with mid 90's styled Death
Metal brutality and modern day influences of Doom Metal. There is an over all haunting
feel to their music that blankets their entire sound. There is a mix of crunchy gritty guitars
with clean technical guitar work. They have a fast paced spastic old Black Metal vibe that
is reminiscent to War Metal bands, with some slower dirty Doom Metal passages. The
thick grimy & groggy Black Metal growls rounds the bands sound out. The album
features some guest from ROOT, CALES & MASTERSHAMMER. If you've never
experienced this band before, then you must pick this album up! You will soon be
searching for the rest of their releases! One of the better Black Metal releases I've heard in
a long time!
