This is the sequel to PLANET OF THE APES. In this film a second astronaut is sent on a rescue
mission to find Taylor & his crew that were in the first film. Brent is the astronaut sent on the
mission. When he crashes on the planet he searches for anyone. He runs into Nova from the first
film who takes him to Ape City. There they get captured & then escape. They set out to the
forbidden zone. There they find underground ruins of old New York City. They encounter some
mutant humans who are planing on eliminated the Apes. This film was just as good as the first one
& especially good for the time of it's release. If you haven't seen these films, check them out,
because they were ahead of their time!!!
