BLOOD MORTIZED

Hailing from Sweden back in 2008 comes the great BLOOD MORTIZED. These guys
play a killer old school style of Swedish Death Metal music. The music is done in a really
raw, dirty and unpolished style. These guys remind me of a lot of the bands I was getting
into back in the early 90's when I first started my label. The music is aggressive and brutal
Death Metal, but they add in a little flair with some grooved out parts. The guitar work
sometimes has a killer Death / Thrash Metal vibe to it. The vocals add to this sound by
being thick Death growls, but it's almost understandable vocals. As I listened to the album
more and more I kept thinking of another great Swedish Death Metal band, ENTOMBED.
They don't sound like a rip off of these guys, but certainly sound like they could be related.
I am a huge ENTOMBED fan and BLOOD MORTIZED has quickly become a new
favorite of mine. Any fan of the early Swedish Death Metal scene will love this band. They
have that classic sound and deserve to be heard!
