ATOMIC CARNAGE / WINGS OF DESTRUCTION
Russia's BLOOD POLLUTION is back with another attack of their Metal / Punk
Crossover style of music. These guys are a very cool throw back to a lot of the bands I
was into when I first started skateboarding back in the 80's. They have a killer Crossover
style of Punk Rock and Thrash Metal. I love this music cause it helped open me up to a
whole new world of music. There are blazing fast guitar shredding with grooved out
rhythms and hard hitting Punk styled drum beats. The vocals are a smooth blend of the
two styles of music, with a rough kind of groggy Punk yell and a harsh scratchy Thrash
Metal scream. These guys are such a killer band that takes me back to listening to bands
like SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, MINOR THREAT, AGNOSTIC FRONT, D.R.I.,
S.O.D. & MOTORHEAD. If that's not a killer combination, then I don't know what is. I
could see both Thrash & Punk fans loving this even though there are heavy sounds and
influences from the other genre present all through out. My two favorite styles of music
mashed together!!!
