CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON (NR)
UNIVERSAL PICTURES (1954)
Starring: Richard Carlson, Julie Adams, Richard Denning, Antonio Moreno & more.
A group of scientists head on an expedition along the Amazon to find fossils. Once they are there they
discover something they never expected. The discover a very strange amphibious gill-man creature.
They try to lure the creature in so they can capture it and study it. They do capture the creature, but
eventually he breaks free and returns to the lagoon. He then returns to capture the beautiful Julie
Adams. He kidnapped her and takes her to his hide away. The rest of the scientists go on a hunt to get
her back. CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON is one of UNIVERSAL PICTURES
classic Horror films and is definitely one of the first of a long line of Creature Features. I love all these
old classic Horror pictures that paved the way for all the great Horror films that came later. If you have
not seen this or any of the other classic UNIVERSAL PICTURES Horror films, then you must! This
is where it all started!
