This is the debut 7" record release from Seattle based DEADKILL. The band features guys
from many other Seattle based bands like HIMSA, THE DAVES, MEICES, WHISKEY
TANGO & ABSOLUTE MONARCH. DEADKILL brings me back to the 80's, when I
was skateboarding and listening to a ton of Punk & Hardcore music. Their sound is very
reminiscent of that time. It's a dirty sounding Hardcore / Punk style that was very popular in
California, New York & Washington D.C. The music is fast paced grooved out and loud, just
like Punk is supposed to be. I kept thinking of great bands like BLACK FLAG, CIRCLE
JERKS, MINOR THREAT, MISFITS, AGNOSTIC FRONT, POISON IDEA & D.R.I.
If you like old school crusty dirty stripped down Punk / Hardcore music then your gonna
love DEADKILL. This is one of the best Hardcore / Punk releases I've heard in a long time.
The only downfall is how short the releases is. I want more DEADKILL music!!!
