DEADLY REMAINS emerged from California in 2005. These guys have a killer new
school Death Metal sound. The music is very brutal and technical all at the same time.
There is a really strong tight sound with lots of breakdowns, change ups and groove. The
music tends at times to play an all out blasting spastic style that reminds me of some of
the lat 90's and early 2000's bands. The combined vocal style Josh Kerston & Ian Andrews
reminds me of a lot of bands on the SUMERIAN RECORDS label. There are a ton of
bands out there playing in this style, but DEADLY REMAINS is definitely one of the
better ones. They would fall in a league of such new greats like THE FACELESS, BORN
OF OSIRIS, VEIL OF MAYA, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME & BENEATH
THE MASSACRE. If this is an amazing combination to you then DEADLY REMAINS
