DETHONATOR is a British Heavy Metal band that formed back in 2002 under their
original name of KALEB. These guys have been tour all over the U.K. and some of Europe
and built op a strong following over the years. Their music takes you back to the late 80's &
early 90's of great Metal music. They have touches of Traditional Heavy Metal mixed with
Classic Thrash Metal music. They also mix in many elements of Power Metal to round out
their sound. The music has a strong clean Heavy Metal vibe that runs through out their
songs. It is done in the vein of bands like IRON MAIDEN, DREAM THEATER &
JUDAS PRIEST. The Thrash Metal elements that are present are done in the vein of
ANTHRAX (John Bush era), FORBIDDEN, DESTRUCTION & some old styled
KREATOR. Then you throw in some more Modern Death Metal like CHILDREN OF
BODOM, IN FLAMES & ARCH ENEMY. The vocals combine styles of IN FLAMES,
HAMMERFALL & IRON MAIDEN. These guys have a little bit of everything to please
most Metal fans out there. This is one of the best well rounded and professional &
experienced bands I have heard in a long time. These guys have much to offer the Metal
scene & after one listen to this album you can hear why! One truly amazing band!!!
