"CREATOR, DESTROYER" is the debut CD release from Oklahoma City's
DISCHORDIA. These guys are another band that has drawn from the new school of
Technical Death Metal bands to create their own sound. These guys have drawn their
own path and stick to no known formula. The music is pure Death Metal all the way, but
does have some slight influences of Grindcore & Thrash Metal present at times. The
music is fast paced blasting with some crunchy guitar parts, grooved out parts as well as
some breakdowns and change ups. I really dig these guys a lot and could see them
becoming huge in the underground scene today. The vocals are mid ranged groggy and
harsh Death growls. Fans of MESHUGGAH, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN,
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME & BORN OF OSIRIS will surely enjoy what
these guys have to offer! Even though they have a more modern new school Death Metal
sound, true old school Death heads will dig these guys as well. I can't wait to hear what
these guys offer up next!
