"UNDER THE GREY BANNER" is the fifth full length album from Sweden's
Symphonic Metal band DRAGONLAND. This album is also the bands first album since
2006's "ASTRONOMY" album. The band may have been on hiatus for awhile, but this
new album really shows that they were hard at work. The band has been around since
1999 and gone through an ever progressing change. They have stuck to their roots of
Symphonic Metal all through out, but have added more and more each time to broading
their sound. With elements of Power Metal, Progressive Metal and Folk Metal all
present in their music all mixed into a huge Epic & Symphonic Metal style. There are
very intricate song structures all through out and many levels of heavy involved
passages. The vocals range from mid ranged Progressive, higher end melodic Power and
straight forward clean Traditional vocals. This is a must for fans of BLIND
GUARDIAN, RHAPSODY & DRAGONFORCE!
