What can you say about FEAR FACTORY! Everyone who is into extreme Metal music
should know of these juggernauts in the Metal scene by now. FEAR FACTORY is one of
my all time favorite bands ever. The first time I heard these guys back in 1992 when
"SOUL OF A NEW MACHINE" came out I was blown away. I had never heard anything
like these guys before and to this day I am still blown away with each new release these
guys put out. The amazing and seamless combination of Death Metal and Industrial music
is like nothing I had heard before. Many have tried to copy this style, but none have come
close to perfecting it like FEAR FACTORY. This new release "THE INDUSTRIALIST"
is a concept album written around a story that singer Burton C. Bell wrote about the
protagonist who is the incarnation of all industries in the form of automation. The
combination of Burton & Dino has never been stronger than on this release. Neither one of
them seems like they lost a thing. You can go all the way through their back catalog and
you could never tell which album is the newest one just by the pure musicianship of these
guys together. I could never say enough positive stuff about this band. I've met them
before, interviewed them, reviewed them & seen them live and would have to say this is
one of the best all around bands in the music scene and definitely a band who stands out
among the countless others out there. If you have never listened to FEAR FACTORY you
are missing out on one of the greatest Metal band ever!
