GACYS THREADS is a four piece band hailing from Northern Ireland. These guys play
a fierce mixture of Metal & Hardcore. They have a strong sound filled with aggression,
intensity and passion. The music is done in more of a spastic Hardcore melted with
rhythmic Metal style. Bands that come to mind include DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN,
CONVERGE & NORMA JEAN, but these guys would shine when put next to these
bands. The band is full blast in your face with speed galore, that eventually exhaust you
from just listening, but really makes you want more. The rhythms are the driving force
behind the bands sound. The harsh vocal styling of Aaron Vance compliments the bands
sound perfectly. If your into the Metal Hardcore scene then this is a must for you. The
only down point of the whole thing is that by the time you get through the 5 songs you
feel like you want more, much, much more. I loved this disc and can't wait to find some
of their older release and await a full length release, sometime in the near future!
