HORROR PAIN GORE DEATH PRODUCTIONS
HAMMER FIGHT is a very cool breath of fresh in the Metal scene. These are based in
New jersey and play a kicking old school Hard Rock and Heavy Metal style. The band
features musicians from FAITH OR FEAR, ABACINATE, NO HOLDS BARRED,
KALOPSIA, CALL THE PARAMEDICS & more. They look like they would be a
Hardcore or Metalcore band, but are Rockin' out some killer old Hard Rock / Metal. I was
digging this from the first song to last. They have very cool driving groove all through out.
I would have to describe them as a mix of AC/DC, MOTORHEAD, LORDI,
CORROSION OF CONFORMITY & CHROME DIVISION. This a very cool
combination in my mind, cause all these bands are great and HAMMER FIGHT has a
little of all of them mixed in. The other cool thing is they have a little bit of a 70's Punk
Rock attitude within their sound as well. This was not what I was expecting from these
guys, but it was a great surprise and I got a hell of a lot more than I thought I would!
