The great Thrash Metal band HAVOK out of Denver, Colorado (my new home state) are
back with a little teaser before their next release. This four song E.P. contains two new
HAVOK tracks and two covers, one being SEPULTURA's "Arise" & SLAYER's
"Postmortem/Raining Blood". HAVOK has been shredding since 2004 and continue to
keep Thrash Metal alive. These guys are probably one of the best new school Thrash
Metal bands out there now. They have a killer crunchy aggressive and raw Thrash Metal
sound that gets many people, who aren't even into Thrash digging them. I saw these guys
on tour with the Punk band THE CASUALTIES and everyone was going nuts for them.
It could have been cause the show was in their home city of Denver. Regardless, what it
was, HAVOK is an amazing Thrash Metal band and can fully stand their own next to
some of the greats in the genre like TESTAMENT, SLAYER, ANTHRAX,
FORBIDDEN & MUNICIPAL WASTE. Thrash til Death!!! I love this band!!!
