KILLUS
"NEVER SOMETHING WAS SO REAL"
AXIIS MUSIC
Spain of 2005 was the birth place of Industrial Metalers KILLUS. "NEVER
SOMETHING WAS SO REAL" is the third offering from KILLUS. These guys have a
very cold and crusty Industrial sound that melts together with Metal. There a lot of
bands that come to mind when listening to these guys. You can hear many influences of
NINE INCH NAILS, MINISTRY, WHITE ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON &
SISTERS OF MERCY. These guys are in no way a clone or rip off of this bands, but
they definitely were influenced by them. I can even hear some slight influences of bands
like MUDVAYNE & THE MURDER DOLLS. These last two influences would be more
in the vocals, while the others would be in the music itself. Some of the Metal sounds
have a Thrash vibe at times, especially in the guitars, but I think this is due to the song
arrangements. KILLUS also has a bit of a 80's Industrial feel, but with more modern
technical twists. I think there is a lot of bands in Spain playing this style, cause they
remind me of another Spanish band that I used to carry on my label called CODE
NAME. If you take the best parts of the above mentioned bands and ball them together
you'd get some of what KILLUS has to offer. That's a killer offering if you ask me!!!
Check out these guys! They deserve much attention!!!
