CARNAL GORE - PROMO 2009
(3 track CD) Self Released
CARNAL GORE emerged from the south of Italy back in 2006. This 3 song promo is the bands
second release. The 3 tracks here will be featured on the bands full length album "IMPRISONED
SOUL" that will be out sometime this year. These guys come out full blasting hitting you with
some brutal Death Metal music. This isn't your typical Death Metal though. They blend in lots of
crunchy & technical sounding Thrash Metal elements. There are certain parts that sound like they
are influenced by cold harsh aggressive old school Black Metal as well. The vocals follow along
some of the same path too. Low end thick Death growls combined with some harsh screaming
Black Metal vocals rounds the bands sound out. This is a band I'm hoping to hear a lot from in the
future. Everyone should keep a look out for the full length coming soon.

This Houston Texas band consisting of two members play a different sounding style of old school
Death Metal. Corey Richards handles the guitar, vocals, drums & bass, while Juan Garcia does all
other guitars. This duo has created some original sounding Death Metal music. It has a blend of
brutal old school & progressive new school sounds. At times, some of the arrangements have sort
of Black Metal feel to them. The twist they have added to their music is some really unique other

CRYPTIC THRONE started back in 2005 out of Florida. There sound is a tight merge of Death
and Black Metal. They take many influences from the old school styles. Their foundation lays in a
clear balance of both styles. The structures of the songs are more based on cold harsh almost war
like Black Metal, while the thick heavy brutal aggression comes from the Death Metal side. Fast
paced riffing & high speed blasting add to the bands already intense sound. Topping everything off
is the vocals that melt together harsh groggy Black Metal screams with lower thick Death Metal
growls. This is a must for fans of the old school genres. Horns raised!

showcases from beginning to end why. Playing Traditional Heavy Metal with lots of elements of
Thrash, Speed & Progressive Metal injected into their sound through out. Their sound is huge &
has a great Epic vibe. I loved all the fast paced Speed Metal riffs mixed with crunchy Thrash riffs.
The bands arrangements of songs is amazing. Kai Hansen's vocals are a very solid strong mixture
of melodic Power Metal & aggressive Thrash Metal. No review could ever do this band justice.

HOMELESS YELLOW hail from Australia playing acoustic Alternative Rock music. The music
has a very strong Seattle Alternative sound to it that takes me back to the early 90's when Grunge
was becoming huge. They have a strong radio friendly vibe that I know would get a lot of play here
in the United States. The vocals are a strong influence of Kurt Cobain of NIRVANA mixed with
Eddie Vedar of PEARL JAM. If you remember the NIRVANA unplugged MTV show then you
will have a good idea of what these guys sound like. HOMELESS YELLOW would have been
huge hits back when GRUNGE ruled the airwaves in the 90's. If your a Grunge fan you must have
this CD.

INNER TERROR is based out of Akron Ohio & play a strong combination of Traditional Metal
and Thrash Metal. The band originally started as a re-united form of the band AXEMASTER, but
had decided on a new name after they tweaked their sound a bit and have matured in song writing
skills. These guys will take you back to the mid to late 80's with their pure Metal sound. They do
add in some more Modern sounds as well, which makes them sound more fresh and not dated at all.
The vocals reminded me of a mix between SACRED REICH, WRATHCHILD AMERICA,
GWAR & OZZY. If your a fan of any of the above mentioned bands then your going to love these
guys. All fans of their prior band AXEMASTER will dig this as well!
