NAVJARMAAHR is yet another Russian Metal band that I am newly hearing. These guys
have been around since 2004 and they play Black Metal music. They play a colder more
gloomy style of Black Metal that reminds me of the early European Black Metal bands.
Their sound is done in a harsh and very frigid style. They are considered more along the
lines of Pagan Black Metal. I like the harsh rawness of their sound. They reminded me of a
lot of the bands that used to be on NECROPOLIS RECORDS in the early days of the
label. There is a bit of a battle like sound to the music as well. The vocals are done in a mid
ranged groggy and throaty Black Metal type scream / growl style. These guys are better
than most of the bands playing Black Metal today and are going to be one of the names you
remember as bringing back the old school Black Metal sound. If your a fan of early
IMMORTAL, EMPEROR, CELTIC FROST & BURZUM then your gonna love
NAVJARMAAHR!
