OPEN DENILE is a very unique and original sounding Death Metal band. In a scene filled
with tons of average or below average bands, OPEN DENILE stand out, and for good
reasons. These guys hail from Bronx, New York and lay there style down in Death Metal.
From this foundation they then build off of it by adding in many other elements. They run
through many other extreme styles to create their sound. There are some very well thought
out song structures and arrangements that take you through some strong Progressive Metal
sounds. From there the band will throw you right back into a blasting chaotic frenzy of old
school Death Metal. They then send you into an atmospheric and melodic Black Metal
passage. There are a ton of change ups that run through all these styles, but they do it so
effortlessly that they flow right into each other. The vocals follow the same path as the
music. There are some strong thick Death Metal growls, higher ended harsher Black Metal
vocals and then some cleaner more melodic Death Metal vocals. This band has a little of
everything for fans of any extreme Metal style. Fans of bands like NEVERMORE,
BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, CHILDREN OF
BODOM & CRADLE OF FILTH will enjoy this!
