POISONOUS hails from Salvador Brazil and plays a darkened dirty style of Death Metal
music. "PERDITION'S DEN" was originally released on vinyl by Sweden's BLOOD
HARVEST PRODUCTIONS in 2010. This is a digipak CD version re-release by
METALHIT.com. This is the bands first release to date, they did however put out a demo
in 2009. The band was formed from the ashes of IMPETUOUS RAGE. They play an old
school style of European Death Metal with some slight 90's American Death Metal mixed
in. The music is very raw, noisy and spastic sounding at times. As mentioned above, they
have a dirty Death vibe to their music as well. These guys play a very old school style that
takes me back to the early days of Death Metal. I really like the fact that a lot of newer
Death Metal bands are going back to the roots of the genre and putting out good quality
music. The vocals are done in a mid ranged groggy Death growl style. Fans of old
European Death Metal will love this band. Can't wait to hear future releases from this cool
old school styled Death Metal band! Thick, sludgy Death Metal at it's best!!!
