SACRED GATE hails from Germany and plays an amazing style of Traditional Heavy
Metal mixed with Power Metal. These guys haven't been around that long but definitely have
some staying power, "WHEN ETERNITY ENDS" is all the proof you need to believe that.
These guys formed back in 2008 and have been building up a strong fan base along the way.
The music goes back to the great eighties of Heavy Metal music, but these guys add in so
much more. Their music is so clean & powerful, well constructed and amazingly played.
There are many influences of Progressive, Speed & Power Metal all mixed in. The music
itself tends to lean towards the styles just mentioned while the vocals is where I tend to hear
more of the Traditional Heavy Metal influences coming into play. Jim Over's vocals are very
clean, crisp and strong all through out. You can combined bands like DIO, TWISTED
INTO FORM, HAMMERFALL & BLIND GUARDIAN and you would have a close idea
of what this killer band sounds like. With only two releases out so far, and loving both, I can't
wait to see what this amazing band has to offer us next. All Power, Epic / Speed Metal fans
must have this release in their collection!!!
