SKELATOR is a Power / Epic Metal band hailing from Seattle, Washington in the United
States. These guys have been pouring out their brand of Metal since 1998. The guys are
keeping the Metal banner held high and keeping this form of Metal alive. The music has a
classic eighties styled Metal sound. They take lots of elements from many forms of Metal
that were popular in the eighties. There are some strong Epic and Power Metal elements
present that are in the vein of IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST & SAXON. Some
Traditional influences are visible in the song structures and arrangements that bring to mind
bands like DIO, old MOTLEY CRUE & old TWISTED SISTER. The more modern
Power / Speed / Epic Metal influences round out the bands sound. RHAPSODY, BLIND
GUARDIAN, DEMONS & WIZARDS, SACRED STEEL & CIRCUS MAXIMUS all
rolled into one. The vocals of Jason Conde Houston reminded me of a mix between Ronnie
James Dio and Rhapsody's Alessandro Conti. This is a killer released well worth picking up
for all fans of the above bands and other killer Power / Speed / Epic Metal!!
