SOPHICIDE was started back in 2009 out of Germany as a one man project. The man
behind this masterpiece was nineteen year old Adam Laszlo. He wanted to create some old
school, brutal and technical Death Metal music. Well, he succeeded in a big way.
SOPHICIDE quickly built a following in the German Death Metal scene and then it spread.
After his first E.P. "THE ART OF ATROCITY" gained him much attention, WILLOWTIP
signed him for this amazing new release "PERDITION OF THE SUBLIME". The music is
ultra fast paced Death Metal that takes elements of old school and new school and meshes
them together. The harsh rawness and grittiness goes back to the early days of Death Metal
with influences of American & European Death metal colliding together. Then Adam, takes
some touches of newer more technical Death metal bands like JOB FOR A COWBOY,
SUICIDE SILENCE, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME & MESHUGGAH and melts
them into one. The vocals round out the sound and are done in a more mid ranged Death
metal growl style This is one of the tightest and most impressive releases I've heard in
awhile. This guys is very, very talented and deserves much support! "PERDITION OF
THE SUBLIME" blew me away from start to finish! Highly recommended!
