VILE REGRESSION started back in 2007 under the name VISITOR Q. In 2010 they
changed it to VILE REGRESSION. They are a 5 piece band from Dublin Ireland. This
Death Metal and Metalcore band released there second EP "EMPIRES" in 2014. VILE
REGRESSION has a nice blend of melody, technical ability, groove, and Death Metal.
This album has something for everybody, which makes this band standout from other
bands of their genre. In a February 2nd post on Facebook announced that the band had
split up due to a lack of time and resources to commit to bigger goals. They didn't want to
treat VILE REGRESSION as a part time band. As a gift the band is releasing an
unreleased track which should give the fans an indication in the bands musical direction.
Well, I enjoyed the CD and it is sad to hear about the bands brake up. They have a sound
similar to LAMB OF GOD, GOATWHORE, JOB FOR A COWBOY, FLESHGOD
APOCALYPSE & UNEARTH.
